I have been photographing almost exclusively on film for twelve years. In 2026, I decided to make my passion my profession.

my philosophy

The meaningful moments in life don't wait to be noticed. This is why it is important to slow down, so you have the capacity to notice and remember those once in a lifetime moments on your wedding. With clear communication before and during the wedding day I want you to feel that you are being taken care off. So that you can focus your attention on what is really important: your spouse and celebrating your love with your friends and family. Whether you are getting ready with your spouse or dancing with your friends. These beautiful little moments, that can be easily missed when rushed, become the heart of your photographs. They’re the pieces of your story that deserve to be held onto.

I care deeply about real connection in a world that often pulls us behind screens. That’s why I photograph on film: it’s tactile, grounding, and it brings me and my couples back into the present moment. You’re not performing for a camera, but simply being yourselves, and I’m there to witness it.

Having lived in Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy, and being queer myself, I feel so lucky to carry such a colourful perspective. I’m fluent in German, English, and Italian, and I love working with couples whose lives cross cultures, languages or identities. I belief that everyone deserves the freedom to love, express, and define themselves without limitation. Whether you’re international, queer or  leading a life that doesn’t follow the standard script, believe me, you’re understood here. My photographic process

Shooting on film comes with its own set of challenges that need to be well trained in order to achieve consistent results. Here are my essential steps I take when I shoot on film:

One of the most important steps to achieve consistent results is taking the correct exposure. On the wedding day I always have an external light meter with me. Before I even start documenting I will walk through the venue and take a light reading in all the rooms and outdoors. Through my years of experience I then have enough information to adjust my settings based on the light situations that occur spontaneously.

After the wedding I develop the film myself at home to have full control over the results. When the film is dry I scan the pictures. The scan is already the first edit of the picture as my scanner is interpreting the negatives.

When I am done scanning, I run all the photos through Adobe Lightroom and refine the image until it carries my signature style and represents my own vision of the picture. When the photos are done I upload them to the clients online gallery to be downloaded.

After I have edited the pictures I let the photos be printed in a local photo print shop. Your photos will then be put into a photoalbum just like in the old days.
